How It Works
The Light in the Darkness class begins December 1, with ten beautifully crafted lessons guiding you through the Nativity story as a mirror of your own spiritual awakening.
Three lessons per week in December:
- Week 1 (Dec 1-7): Lessons 1, 2, 3
- Week 2 (Dec 8-14): Lessons 4, 5, 6
- Week 3 (Dec 15-21): Lessons 7, 8, 9
- Week 4 (Dec 22-25): Lesson 10
Each lesson arrives with a free coordinated journal kit-patterned papers, pockets, Scripture cards, ephemera, and tags-so you can create as you learn, whether you prefer a disc-bound journal, a flip-and-flap folio, or simple printed pages in a binder.
After reading the lesson, you'll work through four gentle prompts designed to help you notice where God's light is touching your life.
You’re also invited to share your pages, ask questions, and enjoy fellowship inside the Bible Journal Classes Facebook Group, where others are creating alongside you. It’s a warm place to grow, connect, and be encouraged as you walk through the study.
Journal Prompts
✨ Light - What truth is God lighting up here? Pause and look closely. What part of the Scripture or the Nativity moment stands out as God's light breaking into your understanding?
✨ Path - Where is this leading me today? What direction is God pointing your heart? How is He guiding you-gently, clearly, or unexpectedly-through this lesson?
✨ Step - What simple step will I take now?Every act of obedience matters. What small, doable step of faith can you take in response to what God has shown you?
✨ Shine - How will this light bless someone else? Where can God's light overflow from your life into another? Look for the person, the moment, or the need He places on your heart.
Family Devotion
Each lesson also includes printable PDF family devotional with activities and questions. Simple enough for young children, meaningful enough for teens, perfect for homeschool families.
Journal Your Way
You choose how to create:
